Meet Carolina Ochoa


Carolina Ochoa is a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Registered Behavior Technician. She is certified in Safety Care, a behavior analytic approach to crisis management. She received her BA in Spanish Linguistics from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She has over eight years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. Carolina also has over four years of experience working as a Behavior Interventionist and is currently performing duties at AKA as a Parent Trainer.

Carolina provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social and daily living skills, and reduce problematic behaviors in the home, community, and in school settings. She also collects, records, and summarizes data about her clients. Carolina educates her clients’ parents with their individualized treatment reinforcements and behavior reduction protocols.

Carolina feels lucky to be working with children because it is what she loves. Her passion for children has driven her to start a career in the ABA field and helps her connect with her inner child. She is an energetic, self-motivated, and fun individual. She is a person who is willing to gain experience while also further acquiring knowledge and skills through her work. She is open-minded and is always seeking to better herself through her work while also applying her training and knowledge in the most fitting manner.
